| - Der Dee (schottisch-gälisch: Dè oder Uisge Dhè) ist ein 61 km langer Fluss in der schottischen Council Area Dumfries and Galloway im Südwesten der Central Lowlands. Er entspringt im Loch Dee, fließt durch das Hügelland von Galloway und mündet in die Kirkcudbright Bay am Solway Firth in die Irische See. Der Flussname leitet sich von dem lateinischen Wort Deva (Deus) ab, und bedeutet Gott oder Göttin. Neben dem Dee in Galloway gibt es vier weitere Flüsse dieses Namens in Großbritannien. Einer befindet sich in Irland, einer in Cumbria (Dee), ein Dee fließt im Grenzgebiet zwischen Wales und England und ein weiterer Dee in der schottischen Council Area Aberdeenshire. (de)

- Dee (ang. River Dee, w górnym biegu także Black Water of Dee) – rzeka w południowo-zachodniej Szkocji, na terenie hrabstwa Dumfries and Galloway. Rzeka wypływa z jeziora , na terenie parku krajobrazowego , na wysokości 225 m n.p.m. W górnym biegu płynie w kierunku południowo-wschodnim. Przepływa przez sztuczny zbiornik wodny , powstały w następstwie wybudowania na rzece zapory wodnej (1932–1938). Dalej przepływa przez jezioro i skręca na południowy zachód, od zachodu opływając miasto Castle Douglas. We wsi rzeka przegrodzona jest kolejną zaporą (wybudowana 1931–1934). W końcowym biegu rzeka przepływa przez miasto Kirkcudbright, po czym uchodzi do zatoki (odnoga zatoki Solway Firth). (pl)

- The River Dee (Scottish Gaelic: Dè / Uisge Dhè), in south-west Scotland, flows from its source in Loch Dee amongst the Galloway Hills, firstly to Clatteringshaws Loch, then into Loch Ken, where it joins the Water of Ken. From there, the Dee flows 15 miles (24 km) southwards to Kirkcudbright, and into Kirkcudbright Bay to reach the Solway Firth. The distance is just over 38 miles (61 km) in total. Together with its tributaries, the Dee's total catchment area is over 400 square miles (1,000 km2). The ruins of Threave Castle stand on an island on the lower part of the Dee. (en)
