Both of the main characters wore oversized hats that matched their clothing. The one in red is Chapi (a girl) and the one in blue is Chapo (a boy). Each episode ends with a little dance. An announcement was made in 2015 that a new Chapi Chapo series is in development. It will be in CGI, and produced by Moving Puppet Studio. (en)
