Tamaki Kawakubo (川久保賜紀) (born October 10, 1979) is a virtuoso violinist from the United States. She currently tours internationally as a concert artist. She released her second CD in May 2007 called "Recital!". Since then, she has released "Live at Kennedy Center", and the most recent release "Encore"with acclaimed pianist Akira Eguchi. She shared second prize awarded at the 2002 International Tchaikovsky Competition, the highest prize awarded in 2002. Tamaki Kawakubo is currently touring in Japan and Europe.
