The Ala Gallorum Indiana ("Indus's Wing of Gauls") was a Gaulish auxiliary cavalry unit in the Roman army, named after its first commander, Julius Indus, a nobleman of the Treveri who helped put down a rebellion of the Treveri and Aedui in 21. The Ala Indiana is thought to have participated in the Roman conquest of Britain, and by the mid-to-late 1st century was posted at Corinum (Cirencester). In 98 it is recorded in Germania Inferior, and in 134 in Germania Superior. The only mention of this ala in Britain is the tombstone of an eques from Cirencester with a style dating around 70.

Durant la segona meitat del segle i, va ser destinada a Corinum . Domicià, l'any 82 la va situar a la Germània Inferior, quan va iniciar la lluita contra els cats. Durant la rebel·lió de Luci Antoni Saturní, governador de la Germània, es va mantenir fidel a Domicià. L'any 98, Trajà la va posar directament sota les seves ordres quan va reorganitzar les forces romanesa la frontera del Rin i els va situar al Limes Germanicus. Anys més tard, el 134, Adrià va assignar la unitat a l'exèrcit de la Germània Superior. En temps de Caracal·la, la unitat seguia a la Germània Superior, i era la guarnició d'un campament prop de la ciutat de Mogontiacum (Magúncia).
