The Demarest Building was a multi-purpose commercial building at 339 Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. The building was designed by Renwick, Aspinwall & Russell and constructed for coachbuilder Aaron T. Demarest in the downtown commerce district to showcase the high-end carriages that he manufactured there. The building was the first with an electric elevator.
