| - Η νήσος Ηλ Πάι (αγγλικά: Eel Pie Island, μτφ. νησί της χελόπιτας) είναι κατοικημένο νησί έκτασης 0.02 τ.χλμ. στον ποταμό Τάμεση στην περιοχή του Τουίκεναμ και το δημοτικό διαμέρισμα του Ρίτσμοντ στο νοτιοδυτικό Λονδίνο, και αποτελεί το πιο διάσημο νησί συνολικά στον Τάμεση. Συνδέεται με την ξηρά μέσω πεζογέφυρας ενώ διαθέτει πλήθος εργαστηρίων κατασκευής πλοιαρίων. Υπήρξε ιδιαίτερα διάσημο κατά την δεκαετία του 1960 καθώς αποτέλεσε ένα από τα κέντρα της μουσικής σκηνής τζαζ, μπλουζ, και ροκ του Λονδίνου, με παρουσίες όπως τους Ρόλινγκ Στόουνς, The Who, τον Ντέιβιντ Μπάουι, Πινκ Φλόυντ, και άλλους, και στις αρχές του 1970 το μεγαλύτερο κοινόβιο χίπιδων της Βρετανίας. - Eel Pie Island is an 8.935-acre (3.6 ha) island in the River Thames at Twickenham in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. It is on the maintained minimum head of water above the only lock on the Tideway and is accessible by boat or from the left (generally north) bank by footbridge. The island had a club that was a major venue for jazz and blues in the 1960s. (en)
- Eel Pie Island (Aalpasteten-Insel) ist eine Insel in der Themse. Sie liegt in Twickenham Riverside, einem Stadtteil von London, der zum Stadtbezirk London Borough of Richmond upon Thames gehört. Die Insel kann nur über eine Fußgängerbrücke oder per Boot erreicht werden. In den 1960ern wurde sie durch Jazz-, R&B- und Rock-Konzerte bekannt. Die „Eel Pie Studios“, zuvor „Oceanic Studios“, im „Boathouse“ in Twickenham, unweit von Eel Pie Island am Themse-Ufer, gehörten bis 2008 Pete Townshend. - L'île d'Eel Pie (Eel Pie Island) est une île fluviale située sur la Tamise, à Londres, dans le quartier de Twickenham. Connue auparavant sous le nom de he Parish Ait puis Twickenham Ait, l'île n'est accessible que par une passerelle ou par bateau. En 1889, on propose la construction d'un pont mais celui-ci ne sera réalisé qu'en 1957. Actuellement, on trouve sur l'île 50 maisons abritant 120 habitants, quelques entreprises, deux réserves naturelles, le , l'un des plus anciens sur la Tamise et un hôtel renommé, le "Eel Pie Hotel", avec sa salle de bal.
