Bert Elmer Singleton (June 26, 1918 – January 5, 1996) was an American professional baseball player. The right-handed pitcher played all or part of seven seasons in Major League Baseball spread over 15 years (between 1945 and 1959) for the Boston Braves, Pittsburgh Pirates, Washington Senators and Chicago Cubs. His professional career spanned 24 seasons, from 1940 until 1963, missing only 1944 due to voluntary retirement during World War II. A native of Ogden, Utah, he was listed as 6 feet 2 inches (1.88 m) tall and 174 pounds (79 kg).
