| - Το Flowers of the Forest (ελληνικά: άνθη του δρυμού) είναι παραδοσιακό τραγούδι της Σκωτίας. Η προέλευσή του είναι άγνωστη. Πρόκειται για μία λαϊκή μελωδία που τιμά την ήττα του σκωτσέζικου στρατού του Ιακώβου Δ΄ στη τον Σεπτέμβριο του 1513. Αν και οι αρχικές λέξεις είναι άγνωστες, η μελωδία καταγράφηκε την περίοδο 1615–1625 στο χειρόγραφο John Skene of Halyards ως «Flowres of the Forrest», αν και μπορεί να είχε συντεθεί νωρίτερα. (el)
- Flowers of the Forest ist ein altes schottisches Volkslied. Da der Originaltext unbekannt ist, gibt es mehrere verschiedene Fassungen. Lediglich die Melodie, die im 17. Jahrhundert im John Skene of Halyards Manuscript festgehalten wurde, ist überliefert. Vermutlich wurde sie aber schon früher komponiert und wird auch heute noch häufig auf dem Dudelsack bei schottischen Gottesdiensten zum Remembrance Day (vgl. Volkstrauertag) gespielt. (de)

- Flowers of the Forest, Roud 3812, är en gammal skotsk folkmelodi. Även om den ursprungliga texten är okänd blev melodin nedskriven omkring 1615-25 i John Skene of Halyards Manuscript som Flowres of the Forrest, men den kan ha varit komponerad tidigare. Det finns flera textversioner till melodin, bland annat av Jean Elliot och Alison Cockburn. Den spelas ofta på säckpipa, särskilt i samband med begravningar och andra sorgehögtider. Det är exempelvis vanligt att den brittiska militären använder denna melodi för att markera dödsfall bland soldaterna i Afghanistan. (sv)

Bien que les paroles originales soient inconnues, la mélodie a été réalisée en c.1615-25 dans les manuscrits de « John Skene of Halyards Manuscript » sous le titre de Flowres of the Forrest. Cependant, il est bien possible qu'elle eut été réalisée avant cette période-là. Plusieurs versions de paroles ont été rajoutés à la mélodie, notamment la version bien connue de Jean Elliot en 1756. Parmi les autres se trouvent celles de Alison Cockburn ci-dessous. Cependant, beaucoup de versions sont jouées sur la Great Highland Bagpipe.
