The Franciscan Center of Baltimore, founded by the Franciscan Sisters of Baltimore in 1968, is an emergency outreach agency located in the Baltimore neighborhood of Lower Charles Village, at 101 W. 23rd Street. The goal of the center is to give immediate response and relief to the emergency needs of disenfranchised people and help them resolve the conditions that placed them at risk.
