The Furioso-North Star is a horse breed developed in Hungary at the Mezőhegyes stud farm. Today it is considered a warmblood breed, noted as a breed with a sound, durable build capable of light farm work, yet with a refined appearance that reflects its Thoroughbred influence.

Le Furioso-North Star est un cheval de modèle léger à mi-lourd, montrant une forte influence du Pur-sang. Jadis utilisé pour les travaux agricoles et sous la selle en Hongrie, il devient de plus en plus un cheval de sport, apte notamment à l'attelage de compétition. (fr)

Były one stanowione słynnym ogierem pełnej krwi Furioso. Został on wyhodowany ok. 1836 roku w węgierskiej stadninie hrabiego Karolyi. (pl)

Były one stanowione słynnym ogierem pełnej krwi Furioso. Został on wyhodowany ok. 1836 roku w węgierskiej stadninie hrabiego Karolyi. "Furioso łączony był w Mezohegyes z klaczami półkrwi angielskiej oraz arabskiej i dał z nimi doskonałe potomstwo: rosłe, kościste i prawidłowo zbudowane. Pozostawił po sobie 95 synów i 81 córek. Pięciu z synów czynnych było jako ogiery czołowe w Mezohegyes, a trzech w Radowcach". (pl)
