The Interstate Railroad (reporting mark INT) was a railroad in the southwest part of the U.S. state of Virginia. It extended from the Clinchfield Railroad at in northeastern Scott County north and west to Appalachia and north to the main yard at Andover, with many branches to the north into the mountains. The company still exists as an operating subsidiary of the Norfolk Southern Corporation, but is operated as if it were a Norfolk Southern Railway line.

Die Strecken der Interstate Railroad führten von im nordöstlichen Scott County (Anschluss an die ) in westliche Richtung nach und nach , wo sich auch der wichtigste Güterbahnhof und der Sitz der Gesellschaft befanden. Dazu gab es einige Nebenstrecken die sich nach Norden in die Black Mountains erstreckten. Die Bahn transportierte vor allem die gewonnene Kohle aus den Bergen ab. (de)

Die Gesellschaft wurde 1896 gegründet. Im Jahr 1909 war der erste Abschnitt zwischen und Norton fertiggestellt. 1913 übernahm man die und zehn Jahre später wurde die Verbindung mit der Clinchfield Railroad hergestellt. Was ursprünglich als Nebenstrecke gedacht war, wurde bald zur Hauptlinie. 1961 erwarb die Southern Railway die Gesellschaft. Im Oktober 1985 wurde die Gesellschaft dann mit der Norfolk Southern verschmolzen.
