John Lynn VC DCM (a.k.a. Jackie Lynn) (1887 – 3 May 1915) was an English recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces. He was 27 years old, and a private in the 2nd Battalion, The Lancashire Fusiliers, British Army during the First World War when the following deed took place for which he was awarded the VC. Lynn was also awarded the Cross of the Order of St. George, 4th Class (Russia). His Victoria Cross is displayed at the Fusilier Museum, Bury, Lancashire.
