Lord Henry Yorke Astley Loftus (9 April 1822 – 28 February 1880) was an Irish first-class cricketer. The son of the politician John Loftus, 2nd Marquess of Ely and Anna Maria Dashwood, he was born at Kilbride in Ireland. He was educated in England at Harrow School, matriculating at Oriel College, Oxford in 1840, and graduating B.A. in 1843. While studying at Oxford, he played first-class cricket for Oxford University, making his debut against Cambridge University in The University Match of 1841, with Loftus making a further appearance in 1841 for Oxford against the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC).
