Michael James Hart (July 16, 1877 – February 14, 1951) was a politician from the U.S. state of Michigan. Hart was born in Waterloo, Quebec, Canada. He immigrated to the United States with his parents in 1880 and settled in James Township, Michigan, where he attended the district schools of Jamestown and Saginaw, and a business college. He worked as a teacher in the public schools of Saginaw County, from 1896 to 1898 and engaged in agricultural pursuits. In 1920, he also engaged in the packing and shipping of farm products.
