Ted Cain (born c. 1952) is a former American football coach who coached in the college football ranks for over 30 years. He is the former offensive coordinator, former special teams coordinator, and former tight-ends coach at Vanderbilt. He was at Vanderbilt as offensive coordinator and tight ends coach for nine years under head coach Bobby Johnson whom he followed to Vanderbilt from Furman, his alma mater, and later as tight-ends coach and special teams coordinator under head coach Robbie Caldwell. He coached standouts Jay Cutler and Earl Bennett, both of whom were voted All-SEC during their time in Nashville.
