- La Coppa del Mondo di sci di fondo 2005 fu la ventiquattresima edizione della manifestazione organizzata dalla Federazione Internazionale Sci; ebbe inizio il 23 ottobre 2004 a Düsseldorf, in Germania, e si concluse il 20 marzo 2005 a Falun, in Svezia. Nel corso della stagione si tennero a Oberstdorf i Campionati mondiali di sci nordico 2005, non validi ai fini della Coppa del Mondo, il cui calendario contemplò dunque un'interruzione nel mese di febbraio. - Sezon 2004/2005 Pucharu Świata w biegach narciarskich rozpoczął się 23 października 2004 w niemieckim Düsseldorfie, jednak regularne starty zawodnicy zaczęli 20 listopada w szwedzkim Gällivare. Ostatnie zawody z tego cyklu rozegrano 20 marca 2005 w szwedzkim mieście Falun. Puchar Świata rozegrany został w 8 krajach i 16 miastach. Najwięcej zawodów zorganizowali Szwedzi, którzy 5 razy gościli najlepszych biegaczy narciarskich świata. Obrońcą Pucharu Świata wśród mężczyzn był Niemiec René Sommerfeldt, a wśród kobiet Włoszka Gabriella Paruzzi. (pl)
