The Dromkeen Medal is a literary prize awarded annually by the Courtney Oldmeadow Children's Literature Foundation for those who have advanced children's literature in Australia. The Medal was established by bookseller, in 1982, and is named after the property, Dromkeen Homestead, near Riddell's Creek, Victoria which the Oldmeadow family purchased in 1973, and established as a children's literature museum.
