| - Edyth Walker (March 27, 1867 – February 19, 1950) was an American opera singer who had an active international career from the 1890s through the 1910s. She began her career performing roles from the mezzo-soprano repertory, but later successfully added several soprano parts to her repertoire as well. While she did perform in Italian and French language operas, she had a clear affinity for works in the German language. She particularly excelled in the operas of Richard Wagner. After retiring from the stage, she was active as a voice teacher in both France and the United States. Her voice is preserved on several gramophone recordings, made mainly for His Master's Voice, between 1902-08. (en)

- Edyth Walker (Hopewell, 27 de març de 1867 - Nova York, 19 de febrer de 1950) fou una mezzosoprano estatunidenca. Acabats els estudis en el gimnàs i després d'aconseguir el títol de mestra d'Amèrica, passà al , on tingué per professora i també cantant Aglaja Orgeni. Debutà com a cantant en el teatre Gewandhaus de Leipzig, amb un èxit clamorós; després passà a l'Òpera de Viena (1895), on feu el rol de Fides en el Profeta i d'Azucena en el Il trovatore, sent contractada més tard per aquell teatre. Poc temps després cantà a, amb un gran èxit a Leipzig, Magdeburg, Berlín, Praga, Brünn, en el Covent Garden de Londres i donà concerts a Breslau, Dresden i Munic. (ca)
