John Michael Sciarra (born March 2, 1954) is a former professional American football safety in the National Football League for the Philadelphia Eagles from 1978 to 1983. He also played receiver for the British Columbia Lions of the Canadian Football League. He played college football at UCLA. Off the field in 1977, John Sciarra established a career in qualified retirement plan administration, as a Third Party Administrator (TPA). He formed National Retirement Services, Inc. ("NRS") in 2001. He sold NRS in 2016 and is currently a consultant and conference speaker for a wide range of businesses and industries.
