The Jugendbund Neudeutschland (Youth Federation New Germany) is a German Catholic organization, founded in 1919 following a recommendation by Felix von Hartmann, the Archbishop of Cologne. During the Weimar Republic, it was closely affiliated with the Catholic Centre Party. The organisation opposed Nazism and was banned by the Nazi regime in 1933. After World War II, it was re-established as Bund Neudeutschland and enlarged, comprising a wing for secondary school students, another for university students, and a third one for those who were no longer students, but wished to continue in the movement. The student wings then merged with the parallel girls movement Heliand and formed the , which is affiliated with the International Young Christian Students.

| - ND – Christsein.heute (kurz: ND) ist ein christliches Netzwerk, dem Mitglieder jeden Alters angehören. Gesellschaftliche und kirchenpolitische Diskussionsveranstaltungen, Workshops und spirituelle Angebote prägen das Programm des Verbandes. Er geht zurück auf den nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg gegründeten Bund Neudeutschland. ND – Christsein.heute versteht sich als akademisch geprägter katholischer Verband. Sein Zeichen ist das Chi-Rho. Dem ND gehören 4.000 Mitglieder an, meist ältere Erwachsene, die sich in regionalen Gruppen, zu Werkwochen, Exerzitien und Reisen treffen. ND – Christsein.heute gliedert sich in 20 Regionen und thematische Arbeitskreise. Leiter ist Hermann-Josef Tebroke, stellvertretender Leiter Jürgen Holtkamp und Kanzler Martin Tölle. Christina Kumpmann ist geistliche Leiterin des Bundes. Die Geschäftsstelle befindet sich in Köln, Finanz- und Rechtsträger ist der gemeinnützige ND-KMF e.V. Die Mitgliederzeitschrift Hirschberg erscheint monatlich. Der ND ist auch die Wurzel der Katholischen Studierenden Jugend – Schülergemeinschaft im Bund Neudeutschland (KSJ, seit 30. Dezember 2011 ein eigenständiger Jugendverband). Ein verwandter Verband mit gleichen Wurzeln ist Heliand – Kreis katholischer Frauen. Im Mai 1997 wurde ND Mitglied bei TransFair. Die KSJ ist Mitglied der Internationalen KSJ. (de)

Après la Seconde Guerre mondiale, le Bund se reconstitua et adopta une structure nouvelle - en plus d'un mouvement d'étudiants du secondaire, apparut un mouvements d'étudiants universitaires ainsi qu'un mouvement d'adultes. Les deux premiers entrèrent en contact avec la Jeunesse étudiante chrétienne française et adopta l'orientation de l'Action catholique spécialisée. Dans un second pas, ils s'unirent avec le mouvement parallèle de jeunes filles, le Heliand, prenant le nom de « Katholische Studierende Jugend » (KSJ).
