Juma Santos, also known as Jumma Santos (January 15, 1948 – September 1, 2007), born James P. Riley, was a percussionist and master drummer known for his extensive work over four decades with African music, Caribbean music, jazz, fusion and R&B artists. He taught a generation of aspiring Afro-Cuban percussionists in NYC in the 1990s (at the Fareta School of African Dance and Drum) and in Detroit in the 2000s. Juma Santos was also a fine photographer/painter who had had several successful exhibitions.

V roce 1969 hrál na albu Bitches Brew trumpetisty Milese Davise. Během své následné kariéry spolupracoval s mnoha dalšími hudebníky, mezi které patří například , Freddie Hubbard, Marion Brown, David Sanborn a Chico Freeman. Dvakrát byl ve vězení a část života prožil jako bezdomovec. Zemřel ve věku 59 let na komplikace s malárií. (cs)
