Mihály Kupa (born 3 April 1941) is a Hungarian politician, who served as Minister of Finance between 1990 and 1993. He was arrested in 1958 for ten months. He finished his studies at the Karl Marx University of Economic Sciences in 1969. After his graduation he worked at the National Statistical Office and several other research institutions. He travelled to Angola for a short time in 1984, where he worked as a financial adviser. After his return he worked at the Ministry of Finance.
