Antonino Neil Pappalardo is a philanthropist and the founder of MEDITECH, a supplier of information system software for hospitals in the U.S. His philanthropy to the MIT physics department has also made possible a postdoctoral fellowship, known as the Pappalardo Fellowships in Physics. Pappalardo was one of the original developers of the MUMPS programming language and system at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He is a graduate of MIT and McQuaid Jesuit High School.
