Sándor Iharos (10 March 1930 – 24 January 1996) was a Hungarian long-distance runner. Though unsuccessful in major competitions, Iharos ran world records over multiple distances and is one of only two athletes (the other being nine-time Olympic champion Paavo Nurmi) to have held outdoor world records over 1500 metres, 5000 metres and 10,000 metres. Iharos was one of the star pupils of the famous coach Mihály Iglói.

(en) Sándor Iharos, vlastním jménem Sándor Izrael (10. března 1930 Budapešť – 24. ledna 1996 tamtéž) byl maďarský atlet, běžec na střední a dlouhé vzdálenosti, člen klubu Honvéd. Na olympiádě 1952 vypadl v závodě na 1500 m v rozběhu, na mistrovství Evropy v atletice 1954 skončil ve finále patnáctistovky na šestém místě. V letech 1955 a 1956 vytvořil šest světových rekordů: na 1500 m, 3000 m, dvě míle, 10 000 m a dvakrát na 5000 m, byl také členem štafety maďarských světových rekordmanů na 4×1500 m. Vyhrál cenu agentury pro nejlepšího světového sportovce roku 1955. Patřil k favoritům olympiády 1956, kde však nakonec nestartoval pro zranění. Po potlačení maďarského povstání emigroval trenér a silný tým maďarských vytrvalců se rozpadl. Iharos startoval ještě na mistrovství Evropy v atletice 1958 (cs) Sándor Iharos (ur. 10 marca 1930 w Budapeszcie, zm. 24 stycznia 1996 tamże) – węgierski lekkoatleta średnio- i długodystansowiec, rekordzista świata. Urodził się jako Sándor Izrael. W 1955 ustanowił rekordy świata na następujących dystansach: * 1500 metrów – 3:40,8 * 3000 metrów – 7:55,6 * – 8:33,4 * – 13:14,2 * 5000 metrów – 13:50,8 oraz 13:40,6 W 1956 ustanowił rekordy świata na: * – 27:43,8 * 10 000 metrów – 28:42,8 Po zakończeniu kariery w 1962 pracował jako trener, ale imał się też innych zawodów.
