Çukurcuma (pronounced chu-KUR-ju-ma; meaning "Friday Valley" in Turkish) is a district of Beyoğlu (in Istanbul, Turkey), made up of the Kuloğlu and Firuzağa neighbourhoods. It lies south-east of İstiklal Caddesi in a valley, not far from Galatasaray Square and between the and Cihangir neighbourhoods. The main thoroughfare is . The buildings largely date from the 19th century, although there has also been a lot of 20th-century development. Çukurcuma is full of antique shops and cafés and has a rather European character. The constituency tends to vote for the CHP.
