The 1960 United States presidential election in California took place on November 8, 1960 as part of the 1960 United States presidential election. State voters chose 32 representatives, or electors, to the Electoral College, who voted for president and vice president. Nixon would later win California again against Hubert Humphrey in 1968 and then against George McGovern in 1972.
