The 1973 Copa Perú season (Spanish: Copa Perú 1973), the promotion tournament of Peruvian football. In this tournament after many qualification rounds, each one of the 24 departments in which Peru is politically divided, qualify a team. Those teams plus de team relegated from First Division on the last year, enter in two more rounds and finally 6 of them qualify for the Final round, staged in Lima (the capital).

- La Copa Perú 1973 fue la edición número 7 en la historia de la competición. El torneo otorgó tres cupos al torneo de Primera División y finalizó el 15 de febrero tras terminar el hexagonal final que tuvo como campeón al Sportivo Huracán. Con el título obtenido este club lograría el ascenso al Campeonato Descentralizado 1973 junto a Cienciano y CNI. Aunque terminó en último lugar, CNI fue ascendido cuando el gobierno peruano emitió un decreto que estableció que la zona oriental del país (de donde proviene CNI) debería tener un equipo en Primera División.
