The 2006–07 season was Blackpool F.C.'s 99th season (96th consecutive) in the Football League. It was also their fifth consecutive season in the third tier of English football. They finished third, and were promoted via the play-offs to The Championship. Andy Morrell was the club's top scorer, with twenty goals (sixteen in the league, three in the FA Cup and one in the League Trophy). It was Simon Grayson's first full season as manager.
