The 2008 United States presidential election in Florida took place on November 4, 2008, and was part of the 2008 United States presidential election. Voters chose 27 representatives, or electors to the Electoral College, who voted for president and vice president. As of the 2020 presidential election, this is the last election in which Flagler County and Volusia County voted for the Democratic candidate. This is also the most recent election that Florida trended more Democratic than the previous one.
