- Rajd Niemiec był 9. rundą Rajdowych Mistrzostw Świata 2011. Rajd odbył się w dniach 19–21 sierpnia, jego bazą był Trewir. Rajd był także 6. rundą Mistrzostw Świata Samochodów S2000 (SWRC). Rajd wygrał Sébastien Ogier, dla którego było to pierwsze zwycięstwo na asfalcie. Jednocześnie został pierwszym kierowcą, poza Sébastienem Loebem, który tutaj tryiumfował, od momentu pojawienia się tego rajdu w kalendarzu Mistrzostw Świata, w sezonie 2002. Ogier skorzystał na pechu Loeba, który złapał gumę na ostatnim odcinku drugiego dnia. Pojawiły się także kontrowersje w związku ze słowami Ogiera, który odnośnie do przebitej opony w samochodzie Loeba, stwierdził: "jest sprawiedliwość w sporcie".
