The 28 cm SK L/40 "Bruno" (SK — Schnelladekanone (quick-loading cannon) L — Länge (with a 40 caliber barrel) was a German railroad gun. Originally a naval gun, it was adapted for land service after its ships were disarmed beginning in 1916. It served on the Western Front and on coast defense duties in Occupied Flanders during World War I. Belgium received four guns as reparations after the war. The Germans used two of those guns in World War II after Belgium's surrender during the Battle of France and on coast-defense duties on the Gironde Estuary for the rest of the war.

- Il 28 cm Schnelladekanone Länge 40 "Bruno", abbreviato in 28 cm SK "Bruno", era un cannone ferroviario tedesco. Fu impiegato durante la prima guerra mondiale sul fronte occidentale e nella difesa costiera delle Fiandre occupate. Il Belgio ricevette quattro pezzi come riparazione di guerra. All'inizio della seconda guerra mondiale, con la resa di quest'ultimo durante la campagna di Francia, due dei cannoni belgi recuperati dalla Wehrmacht furono assegnati alla difesa dell'estuario della Gironda, dove rimasero fino alla fine del conflitto. Первоначально было разработано для установки на линкорах военно-морского флота. В годы Первой мировой войны орудия этого типа использовались в качестве артиллерии береговой обороны на Западном фронте. После войны четыре орудия были переданы в качестве репараций Бельгии.
