Aiyadurai Jesudasen Appasamy (3 September 1891 – 1980) was an Indian Christian theologian, and bishop of the Church of South India in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He was a member of the 'Rethinking Christianity Group', and sought to reconcile Christian with Hindu philosophies. He interpreted Christianity as 'bhaktimarga'.

Appasamy adalah seorang teolog yang berusaha menyusun teologi bagi rakyat pribumi di India. Ayah Appasamy, adalah seorang yang beralih dari agama Hindu ke Anglikan. Ayah Appasamy kelak memberikan banyak sumbangan bagi pandangan-pandangan Appasamy. Appasamy mempelajari filsafat dan teologi di Universitas Harvard dan Universitas Oxford. Semasa menjadi mahasiswa di Oxford, Appasamy bertemu dengan Sadhu Sundar Singh dan terkesan dengan cara persekutuan yang diperkenalkan olehnya.
