Akurio, also known as Akuriyó, is an endangered Cariban language that was used by the Akurio people in Suriname until the late 20th century, when the group began using the Trío language. Akuriyo does not have a writing system.

O primeiro contato dos com não nativos foi feito em 1937 por uma expedição neerlandesa na fronteira do país como o Brasil. Os Akurio (cerca de 50 pessoas hoje) vivem nas vilas Tëpu, Kwamalasamutu e Palumeu e ao longo dos rios Tapanahoni e Sipaliwini.
