Albert Balink (3 August 1906 – 8 February 1976) was a Dutch journalist and filmmaker who contributed to early Indonesian cinema. Born in the Netherlands, he began a career in film journalism in the Dutch East Indies. A self-taught filmmaker, in the mid-1930s, he released a documentary and two feature films, before immigrating to the United States and resuming his journalistic career.

Lahir di Belanda, dia mulai kariernya sebagai jurnalis di Hindia Belanda dan banyak menulis tentang film. Setelah belajar dari buku, pada pertengahan dekade 1930-an ia menggarap sebuah film dokumenter serta dua film cerita. Pada tahun 1938 ia pergi ke Amerika Serikat dan menikah, serta menjadi redaktur majalah The Knickerbocker. Kedua film ceritanya, Pareh (1936) dan Terang Boelan (1937), dianggap film-film terpenting dari Hindia Belanda pada tahun 1930-an. Dopo aver appreso il mestiere dai libri, a metà degli anni trenta realizzò un documentario, seguito da due film. Nel 1938 emigrò negli Stati Uniti e si sposò, fondando e diventando l'editore di The Knickerbocker.
