The Amazon Tall Tower Observatory or ATTO (in Portuguese: Observatório de Torre Alta da Amazônia) is a scientific research facility in the Amazon rainforest of Brazil. The site's infrastructure includes a 325-metre-tall (1,066 ft) tower that extends far above the forest canopy and two 80-metre (260 ft) towers that allow researchers to collect samples from the soil surface to above the forest canopy.   • Der Atto-Turm ist ein 325 Meter hoher Turm aus Stahl inmitten des brasilianischen Amazonas-Regenwalds in der Nähe von São Sebastião do Uatumã. ATTO ist ein deutsch-brasilianisches Projekt, das der Erforschung des Bioms Tropischer Regenwald dient und wie dieser auf die globale Erwärmung reagiert.
