Anton Rop (born 27 December 1960) is a Slovenian politician. Currently, he is a vice-president of European Investment Bank. He was Prime Minister of Slovenia, from 2002 to 2004. Until 2005 he was also the president of the Liberal Democratic Party (Liberalna Demokracija Slovenije – LDS), the legal successor of the Slovenian Association of Socialist Youth. On March 20, 2007, he left the party and joined the Social Democrats. He was member of National Assembly of Slovenia until August 2010, when he became vice-president of the European Investment Bank.
