- المؤسسة المصرفية العربية، هو مصرف عربي مقره البحرين. أسس المصرف في 17 يناير 1980 من طرف حكومات البحرين، أبوظبي وليبيا برأس مال بلغ مليار دولار. للمصرف فروع في 9 بلدان عربية: البحرين، الإمارات، العراق، لبنان، الأردن، مصر، ليبيا، تونس، الجزائر. كما له حضور في سنغافورة، أوروبا والقارة الأمريكية. يبلغ رأسماله حاليا 1.7 مليار دولار موزعا كالآتي: هيئة الاستثمار الكويتية 28.61%، مصرف ليبيا المركزي 28.46%، وجهاز أبوظبي للاستثمار 26.56% فيما يتم تداول أغلب النسبة الباقية في سوق البحرين للأوراق المالية. بلغت أصوله سنة 2005 17.588 مليار دولار وبلغت قيمته السوقية 2.65 مليار دولار في 10 نوفمبر 2007. - Arab Banking Corporation (also called Bank ABC) is an international bank with headquarters in the Diplomatic Area of Manama, in Bahrain. It was incorporated as a joint stock company in 1980 through a special decree by the Amir of Bahrain. It obtained an offshore banking unit licence from the Bahrain Monetary Agency on 7 April 1980, and began operations in the same month. The bank is listed on the Bahrain Bourse and its major shareholders are the Central Bank of Libya (59.37%) and Kuwait Investment Authority (40.63%). Its network spreads across 17 countries in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Europe, the Americas and Asia. It is expanding its retail banking network in the MENA region. (en)
