The Arbër Highway (Albanian: Rruga e Arbërit) part of SH61 and SH6 is a single carriageway highway that is being constructed between Albania and North Macedonia. The highway is planned to stretch along an ancient caravan route passing through the eastern highlands of Tirana along SH61, and ending at the current SH6 in Diber County.

| - Die Rruga e Arbërit (auch Rruga e Arbrit) ist eine Nationalstraße in Albanien, die Hauptstadt Tirana auf direktem Weg mit der Region Dibra in Ostalbanien verbindet und deren Kernstück 2021 provisorisch eröffnet wurde. Im Endausbau soll die Strecke Tirana – Bulqiza – Maqellara eine gut ausgebaute zweispurige Schnellstraße (superstradë) werden, die im Vergleich zur alten Fernverbindung über Milot um 100 Kilometer kürzer ausfällt. Obwohl auch Projektentwürfe für eine Autobahn vorlagen, wurde ein solcher Bau verworfen, da die relativ niedrige Verkehrsauslastung die hohen Kosten nicht rechtfertigen würde. Mehrere Tunnel und hohe Brücken stellen die Erbauer vor große Herausforderungen. Der Scheiteltunnel und das Teilstück Klos (Ura e Vashës) – Bulqiza waren bei der provisorischen Eröffnung im November 2021 noch nicht für den Verkehr freigegeben, mehrere Brücken nicht ganz vollendet.
