- The Arctic Race of Norway is an annual multiple stage bicycle race held in northern Norway. The first edition was in 2013, from 8 August to 11 August, and lasted for four days. The organising partners are Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO) and Arctic Race of Norway (AS). The race is an official UCI-sponsored event, and has been placed as part of the Europe Tour. The first two editions were rated as 2.1 events. From 2015 it was rated as a 2.HC event. The race became part of the new UCI ProSeries in 2020. (en)

Creada en 2013 la primera edición de la prueba tuvo lugar del 7 al 13 de agosto formando parte del UCI Europe Tour, dentro de la categoría 2.1. En 2015 subió a la categoría 2.HC (máxima categoría de estos circuitos). Il s'agit de la course cycliste professionnelle organisée la plus au nord de la planète et c'est la course la plus importante se déroulant en Norvège, devant le Tour de Norvège et le Tour des Fjords également inscrites au calendrier UCI. L'édition 2020, initialement prévue du 6 au 9 août, est annulée le 30 avril par le comité d'organisation de la course, comme de nombreuses courses en raison de la pandémie de maladie à coronavirus. - De Arctic Race of Norway is een vierdaagse Noorse wielerwedstrijd die voor de eerste maal werd georganiseerd in 2013 en verreden wordt in de provincies Nordland, Troms en Finnmark in Noord-Noorwegen. Het bijzondere aan deze wedstrijd is dat men midden in de zomer gebruik kan maken van de lange dagen in dat deel van Europa en dus avond-etappes kan organiseren, die in primetime op TV kunnen worden uitgezonden. - Das Arctic Race of Norway ist ein Radrennen für Männer über vier Etappen, das nördlich des Polarkreises durch den nördlichen Teil von Norwegen führt. Das Etappenrennen fand vom 8. bis 11. August 2013 erstmals im Rahmen der UCI Europe Tour 2013 statt und war in die UCI-Kategorie 2.1 eingestuft. Es führte über eine Strecke von insgesamt 705,5 Kilometern. Organisiert wurde das Rennen durch die Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO) und die norwegische Firma Arctic Race of Norway; Hauptsponsor war Statoil. Mit der Einführung dieses Radsport-Ereignisses trug die ASO auch der Tatsache Rechnung, dass einige international erfolgreiche Radsportstars wie Thor Hushovd und Edvald Boasson Hagen aus Norwegen stammen. Hushovd wurde im Juni 2013 zum Race Ambassador ernannt. (de)
