Arthur Corbett Edwards (10 September 1871 – 26 September 1915) was an English first-class cricketer and British Army officer. The son of Lieutenant General Sir J. Bevan Edwards, he was born at Portsmouth in September 1871. He was educated at Eton College, before going up to St Edmund Hall, Oxford. Though he never played first-class cricket for Oxford University, he did have trials for Kent in 1895 when he played for their second XI against the second XI of Middlesex. He was a good all-rounder for in Kent club cricket. Edwards was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Queen's Own Royal West Kent Regiment in December 1891, while studying at Oxford, and was promoted to lieutenant in December 1894, with promotion to captain following in June 1900.
