- Aun the Old (Old Norse Aunn inn gamli, Latinized Auchun, Proto-Norse *Audawiniʀ: English: "Edwin the Old") is a mythical Swedish king of the House of Yngling in the Heimskringla.Aun was the son of Jorund, and had ten sons, nine of which he was said to have sacrificed in order to prolong his own life. Based on the internal chronology of the House of Yngling, Aun would have died late in the fifth century.He was succeeded by his son Egil Vendelcrow (Íslendingabók: Egill Vendilkráka)identified with Ongentheow of the Beowulf narrative and placed in the early sixth century. - Ane, On, One, Aukun o Aun el Viejo (n. 509) (nórdico antiguo: Aun inn gamli) fue un caudillo vikingo, hijo del rey Jorund y uno de los monarcas de la Casa de Yngling en la era de Vendel (siglo V), los ancestros del primer rey de Noruega, Harald I de Noruega. Después de la muerte de Ale el Fuerte, Aun pudo regresar a Upsala. De nuevo Aun sacrificó un hijo a Odín, pero esta vez Odín dijo que podría vivir tanto como haya sacrificado un hijo cada 10 años y que haya nombrado una de las provincias suecas por el número de hijos sacrificados. - Aun - também chamado de Aun-o-Velho, e referido como Ane, On ou One - foi um rei lendário dos Suíones no século V. Está referido na Lista dos Inglingos do historiador islandês Tiodolfo de Hvinir do século IX e na Heimskringla do historiador islandês Snorri Sturluson do século XIII. Teria pertencido à Casa dos Inglingos (Ynglingaätten), sendo filho do rei Jorundo, e pai do rei Egil. (pt)
- Aun den gamle, även Ane, On, eller One, var enligt Heimskringla en sveakung av Ynglingaätten. Han beskrivs av Snorre som en klok och fredlig man, som blotade mycket. Enligt Snorre blev han efter tjugo års regering, bortjagad från Uppsala av Halvdan, sonson till Dan den högmodige, varpå han sökte sin tillflykt i Västergötland och regerade där i tjugo år tills Halvdan dog av sjukdom. Han återvände då till Uppsala, och offrade sin son till Oden för att få ett långt liv. Oden lovade då att han skulle få leva lika länge som han redan gjort, alltså i ytterligare sextio år. (sv)
