Azoria is an archaeological site on a double-peaked hill overlooking the Gulf of Mirabello in eastern Crete in the Greek Aegean. "Azoria" (o Αζοριάς or (c. 1900) Μουρί τ' Αζωργιά) is a local toponym, not apparently an ancient place name or epigraphically-attested Greek city. Located about 1 km southeast of the modern village of Kavousi, and 3 km from the sea, the site occupies a topographically strategic position (c. 365 m above sea level) between the north Isthmus of Ierapetra and the Siteia Mountains.

O topónimo é aparentemente recente, pois não há registos epigráficos ou históricos do seu uso. O local encontra-se no de Ierápetra, unidade regional de Lasíti, cerca de um quilómetro a sudeste da aldeia moderna de (em grego: Καβούσι; em inglês: Kavousi), 20 km a nordeste de Ierápetra e 27 km a sudeste de Ágios Nikolaos, a cerca de 365 metros de altitude, entre o istmo de Ierápetra e as serra de Siteía. (pt) Azoria (griechisch Αζοριάς (m. sg.) Azorias) ist ein Hügel auf Kreta nahe bei dem Dorf Kavousi und ungefähr 3 km vom Meer entfernt. Es ist der Ort einer archaischen griechischen Stadt. Erste Besiedlungsreste stammen aus der Zeit um 1200 v. Chr. In der Folgezeit blieb der Ort besiedelt. Um 600 v. Chr. wurde hier eine Stadt errichtet, die im frühen fünften Jahrhundert von einem Feuer vernichtet wurde. Es gibt bescheidene Reste einer späteren Besiedlung aus der Zeit um 200 v. Chr. Zu den ausgegrabenen Gebäuden der archaischen Stadt gehört ein öffentlicher Speisesaal, bei dem es sich vielleicht um ein Andreion handelte. Es nimmt eine Fläche von etwa 200 m² ein. An den Wänden befinden sich Bänke. Teil der Anlage ist auch ein kleines Heiligtum, das aus zwei Räumen besteht. Daneben hat der Bau Vo (de)
