- Die Schlacht von Awazu (jap. 粟津の戦い, Awazu no tatakai) am 21. Februar 1184 war eine bedeutende Schlacht in der japanischen Geschichte. Im Auftrag von Minamoto no Yoritomo kämpften Minamoto no Yoshitsune und gegen Minamoto no Yoshinaka. Durch den Sieg über seinen Cousin Yoshinaka sicherte sich Minamoto no Yoritomo eine führende Rolle in Japan und beendete den innerfamiliären Machtkampf der Minamoto-Familie. (de)

- 粟津之戰（粟津の戦い）是日本平安時代末期源平合戰中的一場戰役，發生於壽永三年正月二十（1184年3月4日）。 法住寺合戰之後，源賴朝接受後白河法皇的命令，派弟弟源範賴、源義經以及麾下東國諸將討伐源義仲。經過宇治川之戰等敗績後，義仲綁架後白河法皇逃離京都。在再敗之後，今井兼平等試圖率軍退回根據地北陸。 然而到達近江國時，同長年與義仲爭奪信濃國支配權的率領軍隊相遇。義仲軍大敗潰滅，源義仲在今井兼平等人的追隨下辛苦逃脫。義仲欲尋找自殺場所，來到粟津的松原。然而馬腳踏入了深田之中動彈不得，義仲被箭射中面部而陣亡。見此情景，今井兼平自殺。木曾源氏勢力滅亡。 (zh)

- Minamoto no Yoshinaka made his final stand at Awazu, after fleeing from his cousins' armies, which confronted him after he attacked Kyoto, burning the Hōjūjiden, and kidnapping Emperor Go-Shirakawa. During the pursuit he was joined by his foster brother Imai Kanehira and Tomoe Gozen. During the battle, they fought valiantly, holding off Noriyori's large force of thousands of men for a time. - La bataille d'Awazu le 21 février 1184 fait directement suite à la seconde bataille d'Uji, deux jours plus tôt. Minamoto no Yoshinaka, poursuivi depuis Kyōto par les armées de ses cousins, est rejoint à Seta par son compagnon d'armes Kanehira Imai. En chemin, il est rejoint par sa femme Tomoe Gozen et ils affrontent l'ennemi à Awazu. Ils se battirent vaillamment contre les forces largement supérieures de Noriyori et Yoshitsune, mais finirent par être vaincus. Yoshinaka fut touché par une flèche lorsque son cheval se retrouva englué dans une rizière, et Kanehira se suicida en se jetant de son cheval en tenant son sabre dans sa bouche. Quant à Tomoe, son sort relève de la légende, et si certaines sources affirment qu'elle choisit de rester mourir au combat aux côtés de son compagnon, d'autre (fr)
