- La bataille de Goose Green (28–29 mai 1982) — connue en espagnol sous le nom de batalla de Pradera del Ganso — est un combat entre les forces argentines et britanniques pendant la guerre des Malouines. Goose Green et l'établissement de (en) situé non loin de là sur l'île de Malouine orientale sont situées sur le détroit de Choiseul à l'est de l'isthme central de l'île reliant la partie nord à Lafonia. Ces deux villages sont situés à environ 21 km au sud du site où un important débarquement britannique a lieu dans San Carlos Water (opération Sutton) dans la nuit du 21 au 22 mai 1982. (fr)
- La battaglia di Goose Green avvenne durante la guerra delle Falkland tra la forza da sbarco britannica e le forze terrestri argentine nella omonima località, uno degli insediamenti abitati di maggiore consistenza nelle isole. Goose Green era un punto strategico importante per entrambi gli schieramenti; gli argentini potevano da quella posizione colpire la testa di ponte inglese della baia di San Carlos con aerei ed elicotteri operanti da una pista di atterraggio semipreparata e denominata Base Aérea Militar (BAM “Cóndor”), e i britannici non potevano lasciare indietro quella posizione nella loro marcia di avvicinamento verso Port Stanley, il capoluogo delle isole. - Bitwa o wzgórza Darwin i Goose Green – starcie zbrojne, które miało miejsce w dniach 28–29 maja 1982 w trakcie wojny falklandzkiej. 27 maja 1982 rozpoczęła się operacja zajęcia wzgórz i Goose Green. 2 batalion pod dowództwem podpułkownika Herberta H. Jonesa wyruszył w kierunku pozycji argentyńskich. Tego samego dnia Jones opracował plan ataku nocnego 3 kompanii. Kompania A operująca na lewej flance wyruszyła ku Darwin Hill, gdzie dotarła około godziny 4 w nocy. Kompanie B i D rozpoczęły marsz na prawej flance ku osadzie Boca House. Przed świtem Jones dotarł do pozycji kompanii A, której nakazał frontalny atak na pozycje argentyńskie. Atakujący stromym wzgórzem spadochroniarze brytyjscy byli łatwym celem dla przeciwnika i ponieśli znaczne straty. W tej sytuacji Jones na czele niewielkiej g (pl)
