Baviaans Local Municipality was an administrative area in the Sarah Baartman District of the Eastern Cape in South Africa. After the municipal elections on 3 August 2016 it was merged into the larger Dr Beyers Naudé Local Municipality. The municipality was named after the Baviaanskloof. The name is of Dutch origin and means "baboons ravine".

Auf einer Fläche von 7.727 km² lebten 15.321 Einwohner (Stand 2001). Sitz der Gemeindeverwaltung war Willowmore. Die Gemeinde war benannt nach dem Naturschutzgebiet Baviaanskloof Mega Reserve. Der Begriff Baviaanskloof ist aus den Niederländischen für Pavian und Schlucht (kloof) entlehnt und zusammengesetzt. 2016 wurde die Gemeinde Teil der neugebildeten Gemeinde Dr Beyers Naudé.
