Ben Jacobs (born 9 January 1992) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Port Adelaide Football Club and the North Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was given the number 16 guernsey, by retired Port Adelaide premiership captain, Warren Tredrea. Jacobs was predicted to make his debut in the opening round of the 2011 AFL season, however he contracted glandular fever during the pre-season and was admitted to hospital for five days. He recovered from the illness and made his debut in Round 8.
