Bennett fracture is a type of partial broken finger involving the base of the thumb, and extends into the carpometacarpal (CMC) joint. Treatment typically requires surgery. This intra-articular fracture is the most common type of fracture of the thumb, and is nearly always accompanied by some degree of subluxation or frank dislocation of the carpometacarpal joint.

- Bei der Bennett-Fraktur (auch Bennett-Luxationsfraktur) handelt es sich um eine Fraktur an der Basis des ersten Mittelhandknochens, die bis in das Daumensattelgelenk zieht. Der Mittelhandknochen wird durch den Zug der hier ansetzenden Sehne des M. abductor pollicis longus nach proximal verschoben. Meist bleibt ein kleineres dreieckiges Fragment ulnar am Gelenk stehen. - Las fracturas de Bennett son fracturas oblicuas de la base del primer metacarpiano, que dividen al primer metacarpiano en dos fragmentos, uno de ellos pequeño y anterointerno que se encuentra firmemente unido al trapecio por el ligamento oblicuo palmar.
