Boyd Glacier (77°14′S 145°25′W / 77.233°S 145.417°W) is a heavily crevassed glacier flowing west-northwest for about 45 nautical miles (80 km) to the Sulzberger Ice Shelf between Bailey Ridge and Mount Douglass in the Ford Ranges of Marie Byrd Land. It was discovered on aerial flights of the Byrd Antarctic Expedition in 1934, and named for , an expedition machinist, and a member of West Base of the United States Antarctic Service (1939–41).

Entdeckt wurde er bei Überflügen im Jahr 1934 während der zweiten Antarktisexpedition (1933–1935) des US-amerikanischen Polarforschers Richard Evelyn Byrd. Namensgeber ist Vernon Davis Boyd (1907–1965), Maschinist dieser Forschungsreise und Mitglied der Westbasis bei der United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939–1941). Byrd hatte den Gletscher ursprünglich nach seinem Schwiegervater, Joseph Blanchard Ames (1846–1915), benannt. (de)
