Brangaine (variously spelled Brangaene, Brangwane, Brangien, Brangwin, etc.) is the handmaid and confidante of Iseult of Ireland in the Arthurian legend of Tristan and Iseult. She appears in most versions of the story.

Napój ten miał wzbudzać uczucie wzajemnej miłości do siebie osób, które go wypiły. W czasie podróży Tristan przez przypadek wypił odrobinę napoju i poczęstował nim Izoldę. W tej sytuacji Brangien pomagała obojgu kochanków wychodzić z opresji.
