Brusand is a village in Hå municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The small village is located on a small isthmus of land between the lake Bjåvatnet and the North Sea. The village sits along the Sørlandet Line (traditionally called the Jæren Line) and it is served by the Jæren Commuter Rail which stops at the Brusand Station. The village is about 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) southeast of the village of Vigrestad and about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) northwest of the villages of Ogna and Sirevåg.

  • Brusand is een plaats in de Noorse gemeente Hå, provincie Rogaland. Brusand telt 380 inwoners (2007) en heeft een oppervlakte van 0,23 km². Aan de zuidkant van Brusand, aan de overkant van de snelweg, kan men nog steeds de anti-tank obstakels zien die zijn opgetrokken langs de kust tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Dit zijn de zogenaamde "Hitlers tanden" en ze werden gebouwd door krijgsgevangenen en andere dwangarbeiders. Dit om een geallieerde invasie in Noorwegen te voorkomen tijdens de Duitse bezetting in 1940-1945. (nl)
